Monday Night

Just thought I'd post my layouts that I worked on tonight. This first one is actually one I did this weekend. John, Natalie and I spent Friday night and Saturday out at Daniel and Telah's. Us gals scrapped while the guys played their computer game. I'm finally to my December pictures, so this was the first pictures of Natalie for Christmas. I used Basic Grey rub-ons for the first time and I really like them. I like the fact that with rub-ons you can overlap onto the picture.
Our circle journals are scheduled to rotate this Friday night at our monthly craft night, so I had determined to get those pages done tonight. I had Kim's book this go around and her theme is "What Makes You Happy." This was a really easy one for me and didn't take long to put together.

And last of all, I went ahead and did a layout for the newest Pencil Lines sketch. When I started this one, I didn't think I was going to like it, but it turned out ok. John took these pictures after we had taken Natalie for her first shots. She had some tylenol and it immediately knocked her out. I love that sweet face more and more every day.

hi leah, didnt see an email for you so hope this is ok to respond..thx for the sweet comments on my LO's. i love the one i did for amber's poppy ink class (the one of my bro & sis as raggedy ann & andy)...but hated the one i did for scrapjack. i just didnt feel it when i did it. oh well. maybe i am too critical..and i appreciate you saying you liked it. and i love that you actually took the time to visit my blog & look @ the LO's...it make my day...so far i think the only person to ever look @ my blog is my sis...lol, need more friends! =)

anyway..as to your ? on the pens..i started to use the zig photowriter..my sis is a super awesome scrapper & she loves it for writing on photos (of course) & just normal journaling. well, it was brand new & stopped working almost right away. dont know what happened...so then i used a felt tip (i think?) pen that i just got in a frame kit on clearance @ target. i *LOVE* that pen...but unfortunately it doesnt have a logo & i cant remember the maker of the kit. so i am so sorry not to be of more help! but the zig photowriter is an awesome pen for journaling & doodling. have you tried that? oh & also, after doodling, i went over it w/ a glitter pen to make it unique..that pen is a gellyroll stardust clear by sakura (i get a pack of 2 for $3.49 @ archivers). if you love glitter & dont have these..i would very much suggest them. i love to use them on cards, prima flowers etc to make them pretty...i love sparkly/bling.

anyway, sorry so long..i need a life. lol. i love your LO's on your blog, very cute & an adorable baby. have a great night & thanks again for visiting.

=) jen
