Despite my resistence, since I had downloaded a trial version of Photoshop Elements for editing pictures, I thought I might as well give it a try. And let me just say I was ready to beat my head up against the wall when I first started. I had no guidance, no clue as to where to even start. Playing around in a computer program with zippo instructions or any kind of clue, can be extremely frustrating. But, thanks to the help of some digi tutorials over at SIStv, I was able to figure it out. It took me 4 hours to do my first digital scrapbook page, and this was the final result.
After I finally figured out what I was doing, it wasn't so painful. While I still would rather do paper layouts, I can see myself doing some digital pages from time to time. I now know it's not too hard to do some hybrid things too. "Hybrid" meaning that you do some stuff/elements/titles, etc. on the computer and print them out to put on your page.
I already had this picture printed out, so I wanted to also go ahead and do a regular scrapbook page using it. So here's the same pic, with the same title, using paper, scissors, and glue. ;)
So if you're thinking about trying digital scrapbooking, go ahead and give it a shot. I've been told that it won't always take 4 hours to complete one page. :)

How funny. I downloaded that same kit today trying to figure it out and had no clue, so I gave up. I was just trying to kill some time at work while I was bored, but could not get it for the life of me.
I will be happy if I can figure out how to use/install and run photoshop!! LOL... Both the pages look great!
Both layouts look great! Have a great weekend!
Digital seems like it would be fun, but I've got so much other junk for traditional scrapbooking...
Layouts look great!
I said the same thing about digital but I am slowly learning a few things.
