Couple of Pages and a Mini

I've said before that I really enjoy the evenings when John stays up playing his online game and I'm scrapping. Even though we are involved in different things, our desks are next to each other and it's an easy way to enjoy each other's company.

I got quite a few things done last night.
This first page, I wasn't really sure what I was going to use as a title, but when I checked out the latest challenge over at Scrapping the Music, it fit.

And then this one of Natalie and Uncle Alan makes me laugh because they both have funny expressions of their faces.

I worked on finishing up the mini I had planned to do of the trip to the Park that Natalie took with her cousins. This was a fairly simple design. I used Making Memories paper that was already in a 6x6 size. I cut all the pics to 4x4 so that I could use the same format throughout. I also used Hambly transparencies for the front and back cover. I've still got to do the journaling, but I need to think about what all I want to say. I will do the journaling on the left side in the scallop circles and around the pictures on the pages that are pink.

I also finished painting the zebra and monkey canvases from my previous post, and almost finished up the elephant one. Once I finish it and do the giraffe, I'll post them all.

I've had a couple of inquiries about the pregnancy and how I'm feeling. Lets just say I'm making it. Some how I didn't realize when I was sitting at my scrap table for so long last night, that my feet were turning into sausages. LOL! I knew it when I stood up though, and my poor little toes looks like stubs. I'm doin ok, but really just trying to take it easy because most anything is making me very tired and sore. Natalie is doing much better in the toddler bed and is even taking her naps in there now. The only other thing to overcome with that is to get her to sleep past 5:30 am! But I'd rather her get up early than be up 3 and 4 times a night. We ran some errands today and I picked up a blackout shade for her window, so we'll see if that helps.

Happy Monday!

Love the mini album! That paper is too cute and matches Natalie's outfit really well.

Hope things continue to go well!

I really like that first page! And the mini is so cute! Natalie will love looking at those when she gets older! When we put up curtains in Tyler's room it really helped, so I hope it will for you too!

I know how it feels to have a little one up at 5:30--the sun comes up here at 5am and we have NO curtains left! We finally went "redneck" and taped aluminum foil up on the windows. Worked like a charm, so here's hoping that the blackout shades work for you!

Adorable mini-album, I love it!

i am really thinking you need to submit your pages to get published! They are wonderful! And the mini - so great! I love pink and with two boys I rarely get to use it. As for the pregnancy - you really don't have far to go! I remember those days of swollen feet and toes and well swollen everything. I think it is really easy to wish these days to go by quick - and with good reason. But i hope that you take some time to just sit with your new babe and feel her move around in side of you and really try to be present in the moment and soak in what it feels like to be so pregnant. I just know with my last one I wanted it to be done with - but now I just wish I would have soaked it all in a little bit more. take care
