Out of the Mouth of Babes

This Girl:

Is about to turn three. Seriously?

She amazes me. Earlier this week I had to take her to the Dr. for something minor. When the Dr. started to listen to her with the stethoscope she completely lost it. She cried and cried, and cried some more.

On the way home she matter of factually told me:
I didn't want that Dr. to listen to my heart because he had swine flu.

And that was that.

Somebody in this house has been watching to much Fox News. And I don't mean my hubby..

Abby Overload

I know, I know, I just did a post with pics of Abby, but I took some more today and just have to share. Natalie is at Mother's Morning Out today or she would have been in on the photo shoot too.

Enjoy!

15 Months

On a whim yesterday afternoon I decided to take Abigail outside for a few quick photos. We weren't out there long, maybe 5 minutes. But I caught the cutest pic.
Here's the crazy part. Just barely a second before that pic, and I mean literally a second, THIS is what I caught.
I always thought Natalie was a Drama Queen but I think Abby has her beat. Wanta see more of the mood swings? Here's two more:
And I tell ya, sometimes it's really hard not to laugh at her when she takes her hands and covers her eyes like that. Like she's having the worst day of her life.
She's so sweet.

Quick Page Share

I've spent several nights this week scrapping with Telah. We hook up on Skype and chat the night away while we scrap. Here are 2 of the pages I got done.
For my title on this one I used a cool little technique I learned over at 52 sketches 52 weeks. I took some older mismatched chipboard letters, peeled the original top layer off (the letters were different colors), and stamped and glittered the raw chipboard.
Love this little tip and it's a good way to stretch your leftover alphas.

For this second one I used a sketch from over at Dixie Pieces. I punched circles out of the blue polka dot paper and backed them with the grid paper. I then used rubons and stamps to decorate inside the circles.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend!

Pajamas, Little Chairs, and Sisterly Love

We didn't do much of anything yesterday. Our Labor Day was Labor free for the most part. In fact, the kids were in their pj's all day. This series of pics made my day.

We also just got back from a week at the beach. I'll try to put together a post with some of those pics, but here's another one of the girls.

I Need Opinions

I took some pictures of the girls in July that I have fallen in love with. I want to have one of them enlarged to go on the mantle above our fireplace. But the thing is, I can't decide which one. And not only that. I also can't decide if I want it in color or black and white.
So here's where you come in. I've posted the 2 pictures below in both their color and black and white versions. Help me pick one out!

I really like the one of both of them facing the camera. You can see both of their faces but I also love the one of N kissing A because it's so sweet. So what do you think?

Scrapbook Sussies September Reveal

This month's kit over at Sussies is full of Little Yellow Bicycle and My Mind's Eye.
I also am in love whith my scallop punches. I used them on 3 of the 4 layouts. The bigger scallop punch is by EK success and the smaller one is Stampin up! Fiskars also makes the same smaller scallop punch.
Here's what I did!
