Jamie Scraps February
I know it's been awhile, just nothing too exciting to write about. We were taken down this week by the awful stomach flu that's been going around. Thankful we all seem to be on the upswing. Abigail was spared and we're praying it stays that way.

I also have one other page to share that I originally did for a challenge but didn't get it posted in time.
Hope everyone has a great weekend! Happy Valentine's Day!!

More Pictures
A Big thanks to Jamie who let me use her backdrops, external flash set up and living room, to take some pics of the girls today. (How 'bout that drool!)

My mom gave me the idea of taking some pictures of Abigail in this purple outfit because she is just right around the same age as Natalie when we had 6 mo. pics of her taken.
Here's one of Natalie from back when:
I also took a bunch with them dressed in red for a Valentine Postcard. December was a busy and tough month for all kinds of reasons and I didn't get Christmas cards out. So, instead, I decided I'd do a Valentine Card. Here are a couple of wonderful red!
I love this one because Abigail has her sweet hand on her sister, but I'm not so crazy over that fake smile Natalie is sportin'. I'm learning that it gets harder to take pics of your kids when they get into that toddler stage. Abigail isn't mobile yet so I could just plop her down, but Natalie on the other hand... well, let's just say she's two and leave it at that. :) You'll have to wait until you get your card in the mail to see the best shot I got of them both. :)

That's my beautiful girls!!

Jamie Scrap January
The January kit is for sale at JamieScraps. This month we worked with these papers from Stampin Up!
Here are the layouts I did:
This first one documents my love for scrapbooking. The journaling reads; When I saw this dress I immediately thought of this paper I had just gotten from Jamie. Yes I admit, I am obsessed with scrapbooking. I buy clothes for my kids to match paper!

Mini John
Chillin' at home today for the most part.
Braved a big grocery shopping trip with both girls in tow.
Nat did so well riding in the back of the buggy, playing with the canned goods.
Watching Inaugural coverage for most of the day.
Currently watching Super Why DVD. Guess who requested that.
Now this one; Is such a mini John. I wish I could sketch a slight beard on her face.
That would be funny. To a select few anyway.

Cooking a big pot of veggie soup for supper.
That about wraps it up around here.
Happy Tuesday!

Couple of Pages
I don't have much of an update, just a couple of pages that I did for a LSS. They are having a page contest this month, so I thought I'd run by there and get some paper so I could enter.
Here are the two pages I did.

And one other page I did a while back but never posted:
I never really did a Christmas recap post, so I'll try to get a post together for that. :)

Scrappy Faves of 2008
Last Year I did a post of my top 10 favorite layouts for the year. You can see that post here.
I scrapped a lot more in 2008 than in 2007, so I was trying to think of a way to pick some favorites, because it would be very hard to pick a top 10. So I decided to pick 1 from each month of 2008. Here goes:
January:Still my Baby - I was just entering the second trimester with Abigail when I did this layout. Most of the time my journaling reads as if I'm writing to the kids. This was a sentiment I wanted to get down on paper for Natalie.
February: Happiness in a Kiss. Love these pics of John and Natalie. Also not my usual style of scrapbooking, so this one stood out for me.

March:Snow - We actually has our one and only snow of the winter in March. And even at that it was melted by lunchtime. I got Natalie outside just in time to take a few pics before it was gone.
April:Tickled Silly - This was the layout that I broke into the publishing market with. It appeared in the September Issue of Scrapbook Trends. I think my dad really enjoyed showcasing the magazine at work. :)
May:Taking Care of Pooh - My sweet girl was something with that life size Pooh doll.
June:My Cup Runneth Over - This one speaks for itself. After bringing Abigail home from the hospital it was the first Layout I made.
July:You in the Pool - Natalie's first swim of the Summer in her little Pool. Ironically enough it was her only swim in that pool. With a newborn last summer we just didn't make it outside much.
August:Summer Gift - Another one of my favorite pictures. LOVE Natalie's expression and all the pink I used here.
September:Love Birds - The pictures were just shortly after Papa and MeMe got engaged. They were so giddy they were like 2 teenagers. :) And I love the little bird stamp I used here.
October:Look Who's Two - This owl seemed perfect for this layout and I just had to do a play on words here. Also so hard to believe that "baby" from January's layout was turning two!
November:Keep Hangin' On - Another one where the journaling is talking to Abigail. Just another one of those "momisms" I wanted to get down .
December:Christmas 2008 - To be quite honest, I'm not real thrilled with our family Christmas picture. Natalie looks mad and we all look a little washed out. But even so, I love this layout. The pics of the kiddos save it. ha.

So there you have it. Some of my favorites from 2008. Wanna know how many Layouts I did? It's somewhere around 250 give or take a few. Yes, I really love scrapbooking. ;)
