I really don't remember when Natalie started really understanding what we were saying. I do remember that she had a fairly good vocabulary at 18 months, but I'm not sure when she really started talking.
Just over the last week or so, we've noticed how much Abigail understands. She may not can say much, but she knows what's going on. Her newest words are Nigh-Nigh (night night), Bye, and No. And she LOVES saying no. She says it to almost every yes/no question we ask, even if we're not talking to her.
Here she is giving me grief about eating lunch today:
After I turned the camera off, I asked her, "you know what this means if you're not gonna eat right?" And she responded, "Nigh Nigh". Yep girly, it's nap time.
