I did not vote for him, and I'm concerned, but now that he is to be the next president, all we can do is pray for him and our country and support him...it's Biblical.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34630734.post-50202774735774084862008-11-05T17:33:00.000-06:002008-11-05T17:33:00.000-06:00Very well said, I agree! I want to think the best about Obama, but I just can't agree with him from a moral point of view.
But I *do* wish him the best, and I just hope that he makes good decisions.Charin Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16945418453968471629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34630734.post-14321709695354981132008-11-05T15:03:00.000-06:002008-11-05T15:03:00.000-06:00Such an eloquent post!!! I was glad to see McCain give such a good and kind speach of acceptance of our new president. I am ancious to see what he does especially as he is given an update on the "secrets" of our nations information. It will be interesting to see if he stays as carismatic as he was as a candidate.
More pictures Please... grin ObieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34630734.post-49273621068963247842008-11-05T12:07:00.000-06:002008-11-05T12:07:00.000-06:00I am so with you on this. I was explaining to my kids that in our country we have the priviledge of voting and helping to choose who we think is the right leader for our country. But after the voting is over---whether our candidate won or lost---the Bible tells us to honor and support our leaders. We have to have faith and trust that the Lord has a plan. It is our responsibilty now to support our President and pray for him and our country.

I am proud to be an American and even though I too voted for McCain -- I do see the historical significance of this election---I also felt that both men gave great speeches last night and if they meant what they said--then change is on the way. Maybe that is the Lord's plan.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
